Name of the Post: Junior Technical Assistant
Number of Posts: 7 (GN-5, SC-1 & OBC-1)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field with minimum 55% marks OR 3 year Diploma in the relevant field with minimum 55% marks and with 2 years experience.
Age: Below 26 years; relaxation in age for external applicants will be admissible as per Government of India rules; for internal applicants (existing IISc employees) the Institute reserves the right to relax age and experience in exceptional cases.
Pay Band And Grade Pay: PB-1 (Rs.5,200-20,200) and Grade Pay of Rs.2,400/- plus allowances at the rates prevailing at the Institute. (Total monthly emoluments at the minimum of the scale are Rs.25,993/- p.m.)
